Collective for Housing Independence, NYC (CHInyc) was formed by parents in 2024 to foster the development of a disability forward Inclusion Micro Community (IMC) for people with and without significant disabilities.

By 2032, we will create an innovative, replicable model for disability-forward living in NYC that combines housing, supports, and community building. CHInyc is committed to autonomy, accessibility, inclusion, and a person-centered approach for our supported residents.
